This is a case of an accident
victim that suffered severe trauma on his skull. Existing
procedures meant that titanium plates were used to cover
the space left by the accident. However Osteopore manage
to use its platform technology to customize a calvarial
implant within 3 days. The introduced novel therapeutic
concept, which uses medical imaging, computational modeling
in conjunction with autologous cell transplantation, allows
the generation of new tissue to reconstruct complex cranial
bone defects.
